SOPI is Social Pizza – serving freshly made Neapolitan pizza at our regular weekly pitch locations across Sussex.
We keep things simple: quality ingredients, handmade dough, wood-fired cooking and great pizza, served fresh from the oven.
LUCAS FIELDING
SOPI is owned and operated by Lucas Fielding, who brings over 14 years of culinary experience working in professional kitchens.
A finalist in the 2019 Young Sussex Chef of the Year competition, Lucas has developed a deep passion for pizza-making and artisan dough preparation.
He trained with world-renowned pizza expert Ralph Carlone of Pizza Per Passione in Scotland and has managed local pizza kitchens across Sussex.
SOPI was established in 2021 as a weekly pizza service built around consistency, craft, and community.
MADE BY HAND
SOPI pizza dough is lovingly handmade, using a carefully crafted blend of high-quality Italian flours, and is slowly fermented to develop a deliciously flavorful base with a light and crispy crust. Our pizzas are hand-shaped and stretched before being cooked in our specialist wood-fired oven at an optimal temperature of 450°C. This process gives the pizzas their distinctive charring and delightful light texture. Stretching the dough is a skilful and artistic process; it’s this technique that’s responsible for the wonderfully aerated crust that truly sets Neapolitan pizza apart from the rest.

SOPI pizza toppings honour the classics. We keep them simple, honoring classic recipes.
Our rich sauce is made in-house with the best San Marzano tomatoes for outstanding flavour. We combine fresh, high-quality Italian ingredients with locally sourced produce for all our toppings.

SOPI pizza is expertly crafted using only the highest quality ingredients, which are meticulously prepared with great care and attention to detail.
Our meats are freshly sliced and handled with precision to guarantee exceptional flavor and texture. In addition, our homemade chilli oil and dips are made regularly to maintain their vibrant and delightful flavours.
We take immense pride in using authentic Italian ingredients alongside the freshest local produce, which is sourced from trusted suppliers, ensuring the utmost quality and freshness in every bite.
